表示第一人称和第二人称的代词后面是可以接名词作同位语的。如：

传统语法在剖析这两个句子的时候，觉得We和You是主语，students是同位语。在这里我补充一下，同位语也分限制性同位语和非限制性同位语。限制性同位语和前面的名词或代词之间没逗号，读的时候中间不可以停顿，其用途是明确前面的名词或代词的具体所指；非限制性同位语和前面的名词或代词之间有逗号，读的时候有停顿。名词或代词的所指是明确的，同位语只不过提供补充信息。比如：
My classmate Tom will go to America tomorrow. 限制性同位语
Tom, my classmate, will go to America tomorrow.非限制性同位语
Huddleston的《剑桥语法》觉得，网友的这两个句子中的we和you不是主语，而是人称限定词，起特指限定词有哪些用途，像定冠词和指示代词，限定students的所指范围。其理由是：和其它特指限定词（中位限定词）一样，we students和you students前可加前位限定词all。试比较：
All we students should respect our teachers.
All you students should respect your teachers.
All the students should respect their teachers.
但作主语的we和you是不可以在前面加all的。以下两个句子为错误：
All we should respect our teachers.
All you should respect your teachers.
这种表示特指意义的人称限定词只有复数意义的we/us和复数意义的you/you. 没复数的they/them或单数人称限定词。以下句子均为错误：
I president declare the meeting open.
You student should respect your teacher.
They poets are our guides.
但人称代词作主语，后接非限制性同位语，则代词的人称和数均则不受限制，是正常的表达方法：
I，the president, declare the meeting open.
You, a student, should respect your teacher.
They, the poets, are our guides.
请注意主语后的同位语都带有各自的限定词，这个时候的 I，you, they为人称代词作主语，而不是限定词。
上面说了人称限定词只有复数意义的we和you, 但有个例外：单数的you在呼语和感叹语中可以作为人称限定词表示特指。比如
Why did you miss the train, you fool? 呼语
You bastard! You son of a bitch! 感叹语
但下句中fool作主语，单数的you则是不对的。
You fool are late!
应改为：You, the fool, are late！
